A heavily damaged reactor bottom in France presented challenges that could not be addressed with conventional repair solutions. THALETEC’s answer: a custom-engineered EmPad with a diameter of 24 inch (approx. 61 cm), precisely matched to the geometry of the damaged area and manufactured with high-quality ABRISIST glass lining.

From precise measurement and CAD-based design to verified installation, a perfectly fitted solution was created that ensures a tight, pressure-resistant, and chemically resistant surface. This fully restored the reactor’s functionality.
